Nurturing life long learners has always been the vision of Just Kids and as such, our staff regularly undergo training and skills upgrading in order to better equip themselves for future challenges. Our in-house curriculum team also supports the learning and development of our teachers through regular curriculum updates so as to deliver the best for our children.
Our teacher to child ratio, as stipulated by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA), enables our team of experienced and well-trained staff to give adequate attention to the individual needs of children to the best of our ability.

At Just Kids, we followed a set of thematic based curriculum with integrated activities to prepare your child holistically. Our curriculum also includes phonics teaching and a set of reading program to build a good reading foundation for the children as we believe that reading is an important life skill that is essential for their future school years.
Every term there is a theme that we will focus on and activities are planned to cover all 6 learning domains: namely Aesthetics and Creative Expression, Discovery of the World, Language and Literacy, Motor Skills Development, Numeracy, Social and Emotional Development, following MOE's Kindergarten Curriculum Guide.
In addition, there will also be a series of child's interest-directed project works throughout the year to nurture the children's sense of curiosity and wonder - as we envision to nurture our children into lifelong learners.
Homework will be designed from simple to complex according to levels. For instance, the Nursery Two children will be given homework that involves a lot of tracing activities as well as learning how to write their names while the Kindergarten children will be given homework that varies from simple copy writing to creative writing in sentences.
As it is inevitable that children fall sick and especially so in a group setting, we pay a lot of attention on minimising this risk. Our centres are all equipped with air purifiers with HEPA filters to remove contaminants from the air as well as reduce any harmful air-borne germs that include cold and flu viruses, dust and smoke particles.
Besides equipping the centres with air purifiers with HEPA filters, we sanitize the play equipment and mattresses daily. The toys are all washed with child-safe disinfectants on a regular basis to keep them clean and germ-free. The children are also taught to practice good hygiene habits such as washing their hands before and after food.
Most of our pre-schools are air-conditioned. Currently there are only 3 centres which are not air-conditioned. These centres are located at Tampines, Jurong West and Woodlands.
For children enrolled in the full day program, three meals will be provided each typical school day: breakfast, lunch and teabreak. It is not advisable for children to bring their own food to the centre. If a child brings in prepared food in the morning and only have it during lunch time in the afternoon, the quality of the food will be compromised. Arrangements to bring in packet milk or other snacks due to specific concerns can be discussed with centre principals and reviewed on a case by case basis.
Our centres are not halal certified but our food ingredients are all from halal sources and we do not serve pork, beef and mutton.
Please inform the centre if your child has any special dietary requirement such as vegetarian or allergy to certain food and arrangements will be made accordingly.
